Day 7 (Friday)
I was going to take off to Talkeetna, during the preflight, the instrument panel turns on by itself, I got the volt meter out and strat troubleshooting, I found a short in the harness, one of the white wire had a pin hole on it, it was touching the brace bar behind the panel. This could drain down my battery if I'm not noticed. Very fortunate to catch the problem in time.
I also changed engine oil and replaced the safety wire on the oil filler tube, and checked the power plant thoroughly
Today is happen to be Palmer's Colony festival day. They are bed racing
