Empty Weight 966 lb.

Right Wheel 465.5 lb.

Left Wheel 449.5 lb.

Tail Wheel 51.0 lb.

Empty Weight Center of Gravity 10.23 inches from leading edge of wing.

C.G. Envelop (limits)  Forward:  + 10.85 inch

                                 Aft:         + 18.10 inch

Loaded Weight & CG Calculations (actual)

                     Weight (lbs)  X  Arm   =  Moment

Airplane Empty        966        +10.24  =  9894

Pilot + Passenger      300        +23      =  6900

Fuel (44 Gal Max)     264         +23      =  6072

Oil (8 qts max)        16.2        -30       = - 487

Baggage (max)         100         +51      =  5100

                                           Total    = 27479

         Total Moment            27479

CG = -------------------- =   ---------- = 17.77 inch

         Total Weight              1546

If increase pilot/passenger weight to 404 lbs. plus 100 lbs. of baggage, the C.G will move to 29871/1650 = + 18.10 inch

If only me flying the Airplane without the baggage, the C.G. will move to +14.78 inch

If replace Lasar magnetos (4771/left, 4770/right) with standard mags, replace with Slick model 4373 (left, with impulse coupling) & 4370 (right, direct drive).  available from:

1.  Aircraftspruce  (best price).

2.  ProgressiveAir (Camloops, Canada)

3.  Aeroperform.com   see note  (Texas)

4. http://www.mattituck.com/ ($1673.51 come with 2  new slick mags, harness and spark plugs, good price)

.

When start the engine with Lasar, the right mag is always ground out by Lasar, an unpluged mag from Lasar is always "HOT" can (may) casuse "kick-back" during start.

 A bush kit would have a 4755 mag.
